The North Queensland Cowboys reach 20,000 members milestone for the 2026 NRL season earlier than any previous year, highlighting the club's growing support base and strong fan engagement strategy. The achievement was confirmed ahead of the Cowboys' home clash against the Dolphins at Queensland Country Bank Stadium on June 4, 2026, marking another major off-field success for the club.
Membership Growth Extends Beyond North Queensland
The Cowboys reported that supporters are now joining from across Australia and overseas. Fans have travelled from locations such as Bankstown in New South Wales to attend home matches, while international members have signed up from places including Hinstock in England.
Cowboys prop and Membership Ambassador Coen Hess praised the supporters who continue to back the club.
"Our members are the heartbeat of this club, and they play a huge role in creating the atmosphere that lifts us every time we run out."
"On behalf of the playing group, we want to thank you for sticking with us and backing us every step of the way," Hess said.
Strong Momentum Continues
The membership surge follows the club's promotional activities linked to the NRL's opening round in Las Vegas and support from official membership partner StreetSmarts, which has helped boost digital fan engagement.
