FIFA Names Salesforce Official Tournament Supporter for 2026 and 2027 World Cups as the governing body confirmed a major technology partnership on June 8, 2026. The agreement will see Salesforce provide digital infrastructure support for the FIFA World Cup 2026 across Canada, Mexico, and the United States, as well as the FIFA Women's World Cup 2027 in Brazil. The deal highlights FIFA's growing focus on technology, fan engagement, and tournament operations.
Salesforce Technology Set for Global Tournaments
For the 2026 men's World Cup, FIFA will use Slack as its central communication platform to coordinate operations across 16 host cities. The system is expected to help manage workforce communication, logistics, and event coordination during the tournament.
Looking ahead to Brazil 2027, FIFA plans to integrate Salesforce's Agentforce 360 AI technology to support fan engagement. The platform will use AI-powered tools to deliver personalised experiences and assist supporters through digital channels.
FIFA Expands Digital Strategy
The partnership will also allow FIFA to centralise data from host cities, suppliers, volunteers, and commercial partners. The organisation believes the system can improve efficiency while creating new opportunities for revenue growth.
