Christos Tzolis has completed his move to Arsenal after two impressive seasons with Club Brugge, giving the Premier League champions another attacking option ahead of the 2026/27 campaign. The 24 year old Greece international arrives following Arsenal's league title success and Champions League final appearance, with the club looking to strengthen its squad after Leandro Trossard joined Besiktas.
Arsenal believe Christos Tzolis can add competition on the left wing alongside Gabriel Martinelli while also giving Mikel Arteta another versatile attacking option. His record in Belgium and Europe made him one of the club's standout transfer targets this summer.

From Greece To North London
Christos Tzolis began his senior career with PAOK in Greece before earning a move to Norwich City for a reported €11 million. He made 30 appearances for the English club before loan spells with FC Twente and Fortuna Dusseldorf helped revive his career.
Fortuna Dusseldorf later signed him permanently for around €3.5 million after he scored 24 goals in 37 matches. His form quickly attracted Club Brugge, who secured his signature for €6.5 million in 2024.
Club Brugge Success Opened Arsenal Door
Christos Tzolis became one of Club Brugge's leading attacking players, recording 43 goals and 45 assists across 108 appearances in all competitions. He also impressed in the UEFA Champions League, scoring three goals and adding four assists in 21 matches.
His displays included knockout stage assists against Atalanta and Aston Villa during the 2024/25 season before scoring against Atletico Madrid in the following campaign. Those performances showed his ability to perform against top European opposition.
Arsenal's Investment
According to ESPN, Arsenal paid about £34 million for Christos Tzolis, with the winger signing a five year contract. He arrives as the club's replacement for Leandro Trossard while adding depth across several attacking positions.
Although naturally a left winger, Christos Tzolis can also play as a striker, an attacking midfielder or on the right flank.
One area where he stands out is his delivery from dead ball situations. He created 52 chances from set pieces for Club Brugge last season, compared with the combined total of 39 created by Bukayo Saka and Declan Rice in the Premier League.
