Brazil vs Haiti ended with Brazil national football team taking a controlled 3-0 win at Lincoln Financial Field on Friday, as Vinícius Júnior scored and assisted in a result that knocked Haiti national football team out of the 2026 FIFA World Cup.
Matheus Cunha scored twice after being handed a start by Carlo Ancelotti, while Vinícius Júnior added further threat after his goal against Morocco. The result mattered because Haiti became the first team confirmed out of knockout contention, while Brazil moved top of Group C on goal difference.

Cunha Rewards Ancelotti Call
Cunha gave Brazil national football team the sharper attacking edge missing from their 1-1 draw with Morocco national football team.
The Manchester United forward tapped in a rebound for his first World Cup goal, then struck left-footed into the upper left corner to make it 2-0 before halftime. His celebrations lifted the large Brazilian crowd among the 68,324 spectators in Philadelphia.
Raphinha had an early goal ruled out for offside before leaving the match injured in the first half.
Vinícius Adds Spark
Vinícius Júnior helped Brazil play with more rhythm and created several chances while also tracking back defensively.
The Real Madrid forward later scored and assisted, giving Brazil national football team the kind of wide threat Ancelotti needed from his front line. Brazil now sit level with Morocco national football team on four points, with Scotland national football team third on three.
Haiti national football team still had moments of spirit, with their fans singing “Grenadye Alaso” during the match. But the Seleção had too much control and ended Haiti’s hopes of reaching the next round.
