Official Terms and Conditions
1. Promoter
The SmartTips FIFA World Cup Competition ("Competition") is conducted by SmartB Pty Ltd trading as SmartTips ("Promoter"), in partnership with PuntX ("Sponsor").
By entering the Competition, participants agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions.
2. Competition Overview
The Competition is a skill-based football tipping competition where eligible participants predict the winners of FIFA World Cup matches throughout the tournament.
Participants accumulate points based on the accuracy of their selections and compete against other entrants for cash prizes and BonusCoin rewards.
3. Competition Period
The Competition commences at 12:00am AEST on the date specified by SmartTips and concludes upon completion of the FIFA World Cup Final.
The Promoter reserves the right to amend the Competition period if tournament scheduling changes occur.
4. Eligibility
To participate, entrants must:
Be aged 18 years or older.
Be a resident of Australia unless otherwise permitted by applicable laws.
Hold a valid SmartB account.
Accept these Terms and Conditions.
Not be an employee, director, contractor, immediate family member, or agent of SmartB, PuntX, or any entity directly involved in administering the Competition unless expressly approved by the Promoter.
The Promoter may require proof of age, identity, and residency.
5. Entry
Participation is free unless otherwise stated.
To enter, participants must:

Create or join the SmartTips FIFA World Cup Competition.
Submit tips before the commencement of each match.
Late tips will not be accepted.
Once a match has commenced, selections for that match become locked.
6. Competition Format
Participants earn points based on correctly selecting the winning team in each FIFA World Cup match.
The scoring methodology will be published within the SmartTips platform and may include:
Correct match outome selections.
Round-based scoring calculations.
The Competition leaderboard will be updated throughout the tournament.
All leaderboard calculations are determined solely by SmartTips systems.
7. Prize Pool
The total cash prize pool is AUD $2,500.
Final prizes will be awarded as follows:

The final Competition rankings will be determined by the overall SmartTips Global Ranking leaderboard.

on the final global leaderboard at the conclusion of the FIFA World Cup tournament will be declared the prize winners.
The global leaderboard incorporates all eligible participants in the Competition regardless of location, unless prohibited by local laws.
The leaderboard position at the official completion of the tournament is final.
9. Round BonusCoin Rewards
In addition to the cash prize pool:
The highest scoring participant in each completed competition round will receive 1,000 BonusCoins.
BonusCoins are promotional credits issued by SmartB.
BonusCoins may be subject to separate SmartPlay promotional terms.
BonusCoins are not redeemable for cash unless expressly permitted under applicable SmartTips promotional rules.
Round winners will be determined after all matches within the relevant round have concluded.
10. Prize Verification
Prior to receiving any prize, winners may be required to:
Verify their identity.
Verify their age.
Verify their residential address.
Provide banking information for payment purposes.
Complete any documentation reasonably required by the Promoter.
Failure to provide requested information within 14 days may result in forfeiture of the prize.
12. Prize Payments
Cash prizes will be paid within 30 business days of successful verification.
Payments will be made via electronic funds transfer to an Australian bank account unless otherwise approved by the Promoter.
Any tax implications arising from prizes are the sole responsibility of the recipient.
13. Fraud, Misconduct and Fair Play

14. Technical Issues
The Promoter accepts no responsibility for:
Internet failures.
Device malfunctions.

Delayed transmissions.

15. Leaderboard Corrections
The Promoter may:

Amend leaderboard positions.
