Bryce Leads Scotland Charge
Rain delayed the start before Netherlands chose to bowl in a shortened 12-over contest.
Heather Siegers removed Darcey Carter in the second over, but Katherine Fraser and Kathryn Bryce quickly lifted Scotland with a 43-run stand from 24 balls.
Caroline de Lange broke that partnership in the sixth over, but Sarah Bryce joined her sister and kept Scotland moving.
The pair added 58 runs, with Sarah Bryce unbeaten on 23 as Scotland reached 124 for 3.
Netherlands Fall Short In Chase
Netherlands were set a DLS-adjusted target of 105 from 10 overs, but Scotland struck early to keep control of the chase.
Kathryn Bryce removed Phebe Molkenboer in the second over before Olivia Bell dismissed Siegers in the next over.
Sterre Kalis and captain Babette de Leede steadied the innings with a 42-run partnership, but Chloe Abel broke the stand at the key moment.
Netherlands needed 34 from the final 12 balls, but Scotland’s bowlers held their line and restricted them to 80 for 6.
Chloe Abel finished with 2 for 8, while Scotland’s fielding and late-over control ensured their batting work was backed up under pressure.
