Sterling career spans Premier League giants and England success
Sterling, 31, built one of the most accomplished careers of his generation in English football.
He represented England 82 times and featured at three FIFA World Cups during his international career.
The forward first emerged at Liverpool before moving to Manchester City where he enjoyed the most successful period of his club career.
During his time at City, Sterling won:
Four Premier League titles
Five League Cups
One FA Cup
His success established him as one of England’s most influential attacking players during the late 2010s and early 2020s.
Moves to Chelsea, Arsenal and Feyenoord
Sterling left Manchester City for Chelsea in 2022.
After two seasons at Stamford Bridge, he spent time on loan at Arsenal where he scored once in 28 appearances.
Earlier this year, Sterling moved abroad.
In February, he signed a short term deal with Dutch club Feyenoord as he looked for regular playing opportunities.
Investigation remains ongoing
Police investigations into the motorway incident continue.
Authorities have not provided additional details beyond confirming the arrest and subsequent bail release.
As of now, no findings have been made by a court and no formal outcome has been announced.
The focus remains on the ongoing investigation and whether any further action follows.
