Victor Wembanyama Spurs Thunder talk has intensified before Game 5 of the Western Conference Finals, with Shaquille O'Neal saying the San Antonio Spurs star can decide the series against the Oklahoma City Thunder on Tuesday night.
The series is tied 2-2, and the winner in Oklahoma City will move within one win of the NBA Finals after a tense four-game start.

O'Neal backs Wembanyama impact
O'Neal said Wembanyama’s scoring is the key factor Oklahoma City must solve.
"None of that matters if my guy gets 30-40 points," O'Neal said on television.
Wembanyama has been in commanding form for San Antonio Spurs, averaging 30.3 points and 13.3 rebounds per game in the series.
He scored 41 points in the double-overtime Game 1 win and added 33 points in the Game 4 victory, giving San Antonio a clear focal point in late-game possessions.
Holmgren matchup under pressure
O'Neal pointed to Chet Holmgren’s defensive challenge after the Oklahoma City Thunder center finished with 10 points in Game 4.
"If my guy is dominating like that, OKC don't have a chance," O'Neal explained.
"Cause Chet ain't going to do nothing," O'Neal added bluntly.
The matchup between Wembanyama and Holmgren gives Game 5 a clear tactical edge. If Wembanyama controls the paint, attacks mismatches and keeps scoring through contact, Oklahoma City will need a faster defensive answer.
Wembanyama, though, is keeping the focus on the bigger target.
"We've got to get six more wins before we can rest," Wembanyama stated.
