Pritchard brothers PNG Chiefs interest has emerged as the NRL expansion club targets rugby union pair Kadin Pritchard and Treyvon Pritchard for a possible code switch from the 2028 season.
Kadin, 21, is part of the Brumbies backline, while 19-year-old Treyvon has impressed in his debut Super Rugby campaign with the Reds.

PNG Chiefs open talks
Both brothers are contracted until the end of 2027, but Rugby Australia has already started talks to keep them in the 15-man game.
The PNG Chiefs have also met with the brothers, with Treyvon saying the chance to play alongside Kadin carries real appeal.
“I think it’s just another opportunity (PNG Chiefs), it’s obviously for the 2028 season, but nothing’s set in stone just yet, it was just talks,” he said.
“Obviously, playing with my brother is something that we’ve always dreamt of ... We’ll both be focusing on the important games ahead ... we both have good things going at the moment (at the Reds and the Brumbies), potentially in the future, it would be awesome to play with Kadin.
“We’ve been running around the backyard for 15 plus years, passing the footy around and doing sessions together that not many people probably know about.
“It would be a dream come true for not only us, but also I think for our family and our dad.”
Wallabies dream still strong
Treyvon previously played local rugby league in Ipswich before switching to rugby in Brisbane and attending Anglican Church Grammar School.
His desire to play for Australia in rugby union may still weigh heavily against an NRL move.
“The Reds is not the final goal, I think for every young footy player, playing for your country is at the top of your list,” he said.
“I’m not going to sit here and say I don’t want to play for the Wallabies because that’s a very big goal for myself, it’s very high on my list.”
