GT vs SRH IPL 2026 brings Gujarat Titans and Sunrisers Hyderabad together in Ahmedabad on Tuesday, with the winner set to move to the top of the Indian Premier League table on 16 points.
Only two points separate the leading teams from sixth place, which makes this meeting one of the biggest matches of the season so far.
The clash follows another major Indian Premier League update, with Delhi Capitals bowling first against Punjab Kings in Dharamsala, while official fixtures and standings are available on the Indian Premier League website.
Gujarat Titans Ride Strong Form
Gujarat Titans enter the match with four wins from their last five completed games.
Their attack has shut down Royal Challengers Bengaluru and Punjab Kings in recent home matches, setting up chases under 170 for Shubman Gill, Sai Sudharsan and Jos Buttler.
Kagiso Rabada and Mohammed Siraj have been sharp with the new ball, using hard lengths to test batters in the powerplay.
Rashid Khan has also found rhythm, taking 13 wickets between overs seven and 16 this season.
Sunrisers Hyderabad Bring Firepower
Sunrisers Hyderabad arrive with plenty of batting threat, led by Travis Head, Abhishek Sharma, Ishan Kishan and Heinrich Klaasen.
Klaasen is six runs short of 500 for the season, while Abhishek has hit 27 sixes from 138 powerplay balls.
Sunrisers Hyderabad have still lost all three matches against Gujarat Titans in Ahmedabad since IPL 2023.
That record gives Pat Cummins’ side a clear test against one of the most settled teams in the league.
Rabada Battle Could Shape Match
Rabada’s duel with Head and Abhishek could set the tone early.
For Sunrisers Hyderabad, Nitish Kumar Reddy offers balance with pace near 140kph and a death-overs batting strike rate of 217.02.
Pitch No.5 will be used in Ahmedabad, and six of the last eight completed matches on this surface have been won by the team batting first.
