Toby Greene contract talks remain unresolved, but Greater Western Sydney coach Adam Kingsley says he is calm about his captain’s future as the star forward weighs up free agency at season’s end.
Greene, 32, is eligible for unrestricted free agency and has been linked with Geelong, despite playing all 274 AFL games of his career for Greater Western Sydney. His call matters because he is the club’s games record holder and one of the Giants’ key on-field leaders.

Kingsley Gives Greene Time
Greater Western Sydney have recently locked away Sam Taylor, Connor Idun, Toby Bedford, Finn Callaghan and Aaron Cadman before their final contract years, but Kingsley said Greene would not be rushed.
"I'd prefer him to sign today, but the reality is that's not going to happen," Kingsley said.
"He needs time to discuss and think, so we'll give him as much time as he needs.
"Again, I'm not going to press him for information. I'm not going to be in his ear every day.
"He's a big boy. He can make big boy decisions, and that's what he'll do when he feels comfortable doing that.
"Whenever that is, we're comfortable with what his decision will be."
Giants Face Busy Contract Period
Greene is not the only major Greater Western Sydney name out of contract.
Jesse Hogan, Stephen Coniglio, Jake Riccardi, Max Gruzeweski, Conor Stone, Kieren Briggs and Nick Madden are also yet to settle their futures.
"I'm really comfortable with where we're at," Kingsley said.
"We're in a really strong position not only in the immediate future but beyond that, so I'm confident that those guys will sign.
"But again, there's things that bob up, and that might happen again, who knows? I feel really confident now at least.
"Those guys are influential players for us, so we're certainly very hopeful."
Kingsley also backed Hogan to rebound after the forward kicked one goal in his return from a hip injury against St Kilda, where Jack Silvagni limited his impact.
