AFL round 15 teams have delivered major selection calls, with Collingwood veteran Scott Pendlebury given an extended break and Western Bulldogs midfielder Tom Liberatore named for his return this weekend.
Pendlebury, the AFL games record-holder with 435 matches, has been "managed" out of Collingwood’s Saturday night clash with Port Adelaide at the Melbourne Cricket Ground. The decision gives the 38-year-old a fortnight away from football after the Magpies had their bye last week.

Collingwood have named 19-year-old midfielder Sam Swadling for his AFL debut, while Ned Long and Steele Sidebottom return to the side.
Port Adelaide regain Jack Lukosius after a two-month groin rehab block, but Brownlow Medal winner Ollie Wines has been rested. The midfield battle at the Melbourne Cricket Ground will now look different, with both clubs reshaping key parts of their on-ball mix.
Western Bulldogs Welcome Back Liberatore
Tom Liberatore has not played since suffering a knee injury and concussion in round six, but he will return against St Kilda at Marvel Stadium on Sunday.
The Western Bulldogs have rested Cody Weightman just two games into his comeback from a knee injury, while Adam Treloar is out through illness. St Kilda have named Jack Higgins in their extended squad after a knee issue.
Adelaide And Greater Western Sydney Regain Key Names
Adelaide Crows defender Mark Keane will play his first AFL match since a pre-season leg injury, joining Izak Rankine and Taylor Walker as major returns for the meeting with Melbourne in Adelaide.
Melbourne have lost Harrison Petty to a hamstring injury and Lukas Cooke to a facial injury. Matthew Jefferson, Caleb Windsor and Tom McDonald have been recalled.
Greater Western Sydney Giants veteran Stephen Coniglio returns against Carlton, with the Blues bringing back Matthew Cottrell.

Gold Coast Suns will hand Beau Addinsall his AFL debut against Hawthorn on Friday night, with Nick Holman and Jarrod Witts also named.
Ben Jepson, Lachie Gulbin and Charlie Ballard were dropped after Gold Coast Suns’ third straight loss, while Hawthorn regain Tom Barrass but remain without Jack Gunston due to a foot injury.
